Solution

To know the max amount of RAM that you can install to your MoBo and to know how many SATA drives you can connect to your MoBo, you need to know the MoBo make and model.

You'll find the info under "Motherboard" tab in Speccy. After you have your MoBo make and model, put them into Google and go to your MoBo's manufacturer site to look up the max amount of RAM supported, including how many SATA connectors your MoBo has.

It's the best and simplest way to find those 2 out.

Note...
Download the free version of Speccy,
link: https://www.piriform.com/speccy/download

Run it and click on RAM tab to see in-depth info about your RAM.

Under the spoiler is the RAM specs of my Skylake build as it shows in Speccy.

If you expand the "SPD slot", you'll see specific info about each installed RAM stick (timings, CAS latency, frequency) and also the DDR type under the "max bandwith". As you can see, i have Kingston's DDR4 RAM.

Note: if you're asking what's the highest capacity HDD your MoBo could support then do note that HDD capacity is limited by the OS used and not the MoBo.

If you're not good looking up your MoBo specs from the internet then write the MoBo's make and model here and i'll look it up for you.
