Hi Folks,

Might be a silly question, but is there a way to check if your system RAM is working perfectly ?

I know you can go to "Computer" from the start menu and right click to see how much RAM is installed, but is there a way to see if it's in tip top shape?

I ask because I have had the PC a while and I thought I have read in the past that RAM can sometimes go bad or have issues and I was just curious to see if I could find out.

Thanks in advance - jg1234

cpu.userbenchmark.com has a bench for ram(and everything else). It will tell you if your not in dual channel or if your at your rated speed by comparing it to 1000s of other samples. Its not the most elaborate ram test but it will tell you if its up to snuff.

A 10 second memory test is not seeing if the memory has issues.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I may give memtest a try. Someone at work just told me about the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. I should have searched the web for something like that first.
