Obviously it would depend on what you're using to slightly dampen the microfiber cloth. Perhaps you could consider using a commercial product specifically designed for screens. There are many; I have used the Windex Electronic Wipes without any problems.After over a decade I still can't for the life of me clean matte screen monitors without it clouding. It usually clouds after I use a slightly damp microfiber and wipe it off with a dry one. What am I doing wrong?
I’ve been using distilled water. I’d fill up a small spray bottle and spritz my microfiber cloth. It isn’t as bad if I let it dry on its own. Does it work on Matte Screen?I use eyeglass cleaner from my optician. Spray directly on screen, then wipe with dry microfibre. It appears to be a simple mix of water, surfactant, and perhaps a little isopropyl alcohol.
