[SOLVED] How to clean Disk C: ?

Hello people!

Since a few months my C: drive is with less than 12 GB available space, the whole drive is 97 gb. The interesting thing is that every of my games or huge programs are on my D: drive, and instead of the operating system I have a few more things that are maybe 30 GB.

I use Avast Cleanup Premium but it still doesn't fix the problem. It cleans my Drive with a few gigabytes but a day after that the disk is full again.
I don't have any programs that I don't use, and as I said most of my programs are on my D: drive.

Any ideas how I am able to fix it?
NOTE: I am using Windows 7

use windows built in clean up to remove all old windows updates:
https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/delete-old-windows-update-files/

remove any old programs you don't use anymore.

Did you try Disk cleanup from Windows ? Even when you install programs/games on another disk some files are installed to C; as well as most game saves.

Is ccleaner going to do a better job than Avast Cleaner?

Install and run either WinDirStat, or WizTree.

Run as Administrator, selecting only the drive in question.

Hello, thanks! But now I have a bigger problem.. I runned windows disk cleaner and deleted the copies of Windows updates, now my PC is stuck at "Configuring Windows updates" and can't start... Can you help me?

Was it in the middle of doing an Update at the time?
Have you rebooted the system?

I have rebooted the pc in safe mode, and the problem is fixed now. Thanks anyway!
