How to clean goo off Nintendo DS Lite screen?

I have a Nintendo DS Lite, when I took off the screen protector it left this really gooey sticky stuff on the screens.
I tryed to clean it a little, but all it does is smudge.

Any suggestions or cleaning solution I can use without damaging the screens?

Dab a cloth in some isopropyl alcohol and it should break down the adhesive. Works great and when bought is generally mostly water so it is safe to use.
