Hello, i have a huge problem with trying to figure out how to clean my radiator. It has VERY sticky dirt that is probably not possible to even remove by blowing it off. What do I do at this point? Its so bad that im honestly considering buying a new cooling system lol, I used the push pull method which you can imagine just how much dirt is stuck in that radiator. What do you guys think i should do to clean it?

Remove the radiator from the pc (including the water block if it's an all in one), take the fans off of it and try using a solution of warm water with mild soap like dish soap. Let it soak for 10-20min and use some warm/hot water to rinse it off. Another safe solution would be to mix a little white vinegar with water, good at removing grime without harming anything. Just be sure to rinse well to avoid any lingering odor of vinegar. Maybe use a soft bristle brush like an old toothbrush (or you can buy a cheapy for like $1) and gently brush the fins. Make sure to let it dry completely before reattaching the fans and installing the waterblock if you removed it (don't forget to use thermal paste).

An air duster only goes so far sometimes and is good at removing light surface dust but won't clean it completely. If you do decide to wash the radiator just make sure to wash just the radiator. I would try to keep water away from the outside of the waterblock, if it's aio that's usually where the pump is and getting it wet may damage it. Hope this helps.
