how to clear old dns servers from adapter

I recently changed router to using a time warner wireless router instead of netgear my network adapter card shows old dns server settings and when I delete them they still come back flushing dns didn't work I can't even change dns to get automatically still reverts back to old dns server settings

I need some help clearing or flushing old server addresses from network adapter
 
Solution
If you go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings, then right click on your adapter, choose properties, go to Internet Protocol Version 4, Click Properties, your DNS settings are there. You can leave them blank, and TWC's DNS servers will work (I won't use them - they are extremely slow). I use any combination of:
1) Open DNS - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
2) Google: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
