How to completely erase my old ssd

I bought a new ssd and already cloned the old one over to it and also switched it in the boot order. I just want to clear my old one now to use it as a secondary one. I tried using the samsung magician thing but it keeps telling me to please do something with usb drive for boot this or that. I just want to clear it.

Get familiar with the commandline diskpart.
Be very, very careful about which drive you are accessing.
