How should i connect 3 case fans to power?

I have seen this adapter on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazingdeal365-Cable-Splitter-Sleeved-Extension-Black/dp/B071W6BH4Q/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2WFBBN5DI93C2&keywords=fan+splitter+for+3+fans&qid=1560966675&s=gateway&sprefix=fan+splitter+for+,aps,164&sr=8-4&th=1 which lets you connect 3 fans via a 4 pin connector that goes on motherboard.
But is this good for the motherboard, will it burn the header?
Also i know I can buy a 4 pin molex adapter, but then the fans will run on full speed all the time.

Any suggestions?

I have one just like it and it works fine... BUT.....

Yes, it could overload the fan controller on your mobo and burn it up. It depends on the power output spec for the fan header and the power load imposed by the fans.

Check your manual to find the header power limits... you may have to look up your fan(s) on the mfr. website to get their load spec's.

What fans do you have and what motherboard? maybe someone can help.
