How to connect 40 computers and one server??

Hello!
I want to simply connect 40 computers with 1 server in a school lab. I only use 8 port simple 100mbps switches but now it require two switches of 24 ports. i am confuse how to use these two switches.

connect the computers to any of the 10/100 ports marked 1 - 22 on either of the two switches
connect the two switches via the 10/100/1000 port with each other
connect the server to one of the 10/100/1000 port
connect the internet connection, if you have one, to the last 10/100/1000 port
