how can I connect a netgear R6300 router to a Verizon Note 3 phone set up for a wi-fi mobile hot spot? so I can use devices on my home wired and wireless network

Solution
You cannot use ICS (Interent Connection Sharing) with a router unless you turn off DHCP because ICS controls the DHCP. I have bridged dozens of 3/4G hot spots through Windows 7, and I really don't see why your cell phone should be any more difficult.

I'm aware that Netgear does not support mobile hot spots (or at least they say that and I have not spent any time testing that idea), but there are now a number of specialized routers for sharing USB hot spots. And better routers, like ASUS allow a direct USB connection for a tethered phone or hot spot like THIS.
You should be able to use a Windows computer to make the link -- the computer would need to have both wireless to receive the signal from the hotspot and an Ethernet port to connect to the router. You can then bridge the adapters in the network control panel (note that ICS will not work because of the router). Creating the bridge is pretty easy, just go to the network control panel, change adapter settings, highlight both the wired and wireless connection, right click and select bridge connections.

What is ICS ? Thanks for responding to me. I tried your answer it did not work. I called Netgear. the guy was told me none of their routers work with a mobile hot spot. I think thats not true.
