how to connect internal optical disk via usb?

Hello everyone!
I have a question...
I just found an old laptop so I took its optical disk drive.
I want to know - there is any way to connect it via usb to an other laptop?

You'll need to get a slimline DVD drive caddy with a SATA connector & plug in the drive into it.

What you're looking for is a USB to Slimline SATA CD/DVD Optical Drive Enclosure/Caddy. Standard Slim SATA interface (Compatible with most Slim SATA CD/DVD drives).
