Morning!
I am aware this is going to sound like a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere on the internet. So I am nearly finished my first build, all I have left to do is plug in the harddrives, fan controls and LED lighting.

Problem is my PSU did not come with any Molex input (if that's what was meant to happen?), so maybe this is as simple as buying a 6 pin (or 8 pin or 4 pin) adapter for my PSU, but if that's the case then where to I plug my SATA power cables into?! Do I need another adapter for Molex to SATA?

This is what the back of my PSU looks like (bottom left is being used, rest are free):

This is what the end of the power cable for my fan controller looks like:

And this is the power cable for the LED contoller:

I have not even got as far as buying the power cables for the hard drives, since this molex business has baffles me so much!!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, they're much appreciated :)

So basically, you dont have to modular connectors to connect the fan controllers and led controllers to the power supply, right?

In that case, you will need replacement modular cables THAT ARE FOR YOUR PSU. modular cables dont have any standard, so it is important to get cables made especially for that specific PSU. It is sad how many poeple dont know this, and literally watch their computer go up in smoke, then blame the manufacterer. Again, DO NOT USE MODULAR CABLES NOT DESIGNED FOR YOUR PSU.

If you cannot find replacement cables, and you have a free sata connector this may help :

then, plug this into one of the splitter's sata ports ...
Ahh okay, so I think the problem is that because the PSU was second hand, it no longer has a molex cable, why are these not easy to find on the internet, I'm not sure what type to get for the PSU above 🙁
