How to connect multiple fans to one header?

So I am assembling my PC for the first time and came in a bit of a glitch.
So the motherboard (Asus b85m gamer) I chose has only one fan header. Which obviously isn't enough and the case I chose ( circle cc830) has 5 fans.
I read a few threads and I understood that I can connect two fans to one header by using a y splitter, but how do I connect the rest of the fans?
Somewhere I read, sugested to use a molex adapter to connect it to PSU so it reduces the load on motherboard.
1)Can someone explain me a step by step process on how will I be able to achieve this?
2)what additional hardware do I require to achieve this.
3) it obviously won't be recommended but what could be the possible repercussions?
Thanks. :)

The only reason to connect to a motherboard header instead of the psu is to be able to reduce the fan speed.
If noise is not an issue, connect them all to the psu.

With a B85 motherboard, you are leaving performance on the table because you will not be able to overclock your "K". You need a Z97 motherboard for that.
If you will not overclock, you will not need extra cooling either.
If your case does support three intake fans, that is good. I would do that.
Whatever air comes in will exit someplace, do not worry about exhaust fans. One 120mm at the rear or top is fine.

If the fans have a molex connector, you can attach them directly to the psu.
If they have only a three pin connector, there are 3 pin to molex adapter cables.
When attached directly to a psu, they will run full speed.
If you want to adjust the speeds individually, you can buy a fan controller.
You attach the fans to the controller and power the controller using a molex connection.

A motherboard fan header will have a maximum amperage that it can safely deliver.
Two fans is usually ok, but I would not attempt 4.

This is what a molex to 3 pin fan adapter looks like.
The molex part is open ended so you can stack as many as you want.

And... Just because a case has a place for many fans, it does not mean that it is a good idea to use them.
With a B85 motherboard, I suspect that two 120mm intakes and one 120mm exhaust would be more than enough.

So do you think if I connect two fans to the header (y splitter) and the extra two fans to the PSU (4 pin to molex) then it will be safely working?

I will be running a i5 4690k and a Asus strix gtx 970. On top of that I live in Mumbai so hot temperatures
