How to connect my adsl 2+ wifi router/modem to wan port?

My modem/router is Netgear DGN2200 V3 that I bought when I lived in Australia. However, my new apartment has a wan port, so how do I use my router?

to connect rj45 end to the wan port and rj11 end to my router.

No. You need an ethernet router. Your combo unit has a DSL modem and router combined. It won't work.
