Do I have to upgrade my power supply? I just bought a gtx 770 graphics card. Which needs 8pin PCI plugged into the power supply. My CPU is already using the 8 pin port because my motherboard has an 8pin wire. (Asus p8z77-v deluxe). Is there any solution other then upgrade my power supply? I have like 3 6pin ports not being used on the 750w.

The information I've found indicates there should be two 12-pin cables that plug into the top-right PCI-E/CPU 8P 12-pin connections (currently not being used in your picture). Those cables each have two 6+2 PCI-E connections on the other end that can be used in your GTX 770. All you have to do is plug in one of those 12-pin cables to power your GPU.

Here's the cable I'm talking about:

I do have a 24 and it's connected to the motherboard as we'll just like 8 pin is.

I have 2 12pin, 1 4pin and 2 6pin open in the psu.

It's seasonic 750w plus gold x series

Your 6-pin PCI-E connectors are 6+2 according to the Seasonic documentation. All you have to do is combine the extra two pins to make the 6-pin connection an 8-pin PCI-E connection.

This is the list of connections available on the SeaSonic SS-750KM3 750W PSU:

1 x Main connector (20+4 Pin)
1 x 4-Pin ATX 12V
2 x 8-Pin EPS 12V
8 x Peripheral
8 x SATA
2 x Floppy
4 x 6+2-Pin PCI-E

Either OP is missing cables, but I am just suggesting on the given info and I did mention the 6+2 pin, but apparently the OP doesnt have said cables.

Guys it's not the cables. I'm talking about the power supply. There are only 2 six pin,1 4 pin and 2 12 pin holes where the PCI wire can be plugged in. There is no 2 pin holes in my power supply. 4 is the lowest number. I have a cable that splits 8 pin to 2 4 pins but again I only have 1 4 pin holes so i can't plug them both in.

Let me get a picture for u guys.

Apologies =D You ment TO the PSU.

So, if there is no room for the 8-pin cable [4+4] to connect to the PSU, as you say it is in use by the Mobo 8-pin connector, then I stick to my 2nd, 2nd half, answer: You need a Upgrade.

I hope it is all clear now! =D

I was asking about that because micro center is pretty close to me and I could go pick it up tonight.

I tried looking on amazon and newegg because of few shipping but I had no luck. Any other sites that maybe have this by any chance?
