Hi. So today I've bought a new monitor. BENQ GL2460.
i tryed to connect it to my pc via HDMI but it didnt work.
i can only connect it trough dsub.
my pc specs are:
GPU: Sapphire R7 260x OC 2GB
CPU: AMD APU A10 5800K
MBO: ASROCK FM2A75M-HD+
PSU: BLACK POWER 600W
RAM: KNGSTONE 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit.
before this monitor i had Asus VW197 and it was connected via vga converter as it doesnt support HDMI.
so now when i connect via HDMI it says no signal. and it says its connected via DSUB. probably because my GPU doesnt have vga either. so its just vga cable with connector, but it works.
what can i do? btw monitor isnt broken it works perfectly well when i connect it to laptop with the same cable.
are there any bios/gpu settings?
it doesnt matter what i choose on monitors end (dvi/hdmi/dsub) it says that only dsub is working and for the rest says no signal when i choose hdmi and unplug dsub.
thanks in andvance

yes its really far away i cant miss it.
everything is properly connected. i have 1 hdmi input on my gpu. and 1 hdmi input on my monitor.
btw i tryed to connect hdmi to my MBO aswell it says no signal still.
my pc just doesnt recognize that anything is connected when i unplug dsub and leave hdmi either on mbo or gpu.
