I have an old Denon AVR-330.
Have a new LG tv with Optical and HDMI, it's connected via HDMI to the streamer tv company
Isn't that enough to connect Denon via Optical to TV and then it should work? I set the output to VCR (that's the optic name)

I tried all the exits in the remote, tried optical audio via tv, everything. What i did wrong?

I have photos of all of it here

Normally the HDMI output marked 2 eARC output with the blue connector would be plugged into the receiver's HDMI input marked VCR or DVD. Is that what's plugged in there on the receiver? The receiver picture isn't clear as to what's plugged into the HDMI VCR input. What is the blue cable connected to?

Nope the blue one is nothing. The purple one is connected to TV and to TV streamer only. What's connected to the receiver is Golden one which also connected to TV. And the only optical exit from receiver is also connected to TV.
I tried many varieties but nothing works.
Should the TV steamer need to be connected to the Receiver?

Let's start with the streamer; is that the only source device and how many hdmi outputs does it have? Normally it would be:

streamer hdmi output --> TV hdmi input --> TV eARC output --> receiver hdmi input

The alternate method would be:

stream hdmi output --> receiver hdmi input --> receiver hdmi monitor output --> TV hdmi input

Whats eARC output? I think i have only Hdmi 1 2 3. U mean one of them is eARC?
The streamer has 1 HDMI and 1 optic.

It's like that:
TV HDMI 1 > Streamer
TV HDMI 2 > Receiver (tried all of the hdmi inputs: dvd, cd, hdmi output)
TV optic > receiver

Isn't that suppose to be enoguh to connect only optic cable from TV to receiver?

The second picture you uploaded shows that HDMI port #2 is labelled eARC which would normally output the TV's audio to the receiver's HDMI input. You said optical doesn't work so I'm suggesting HDMI. Perhaps if you indicate the specific model of the LG TV there may be something in the TV's settings that you have missed which is necessary for sound output either by eARC or optical.

Ohh i see.. I'll try HDMI 2 port and see if there are any tv setting that I'm missing..

Easiest way is get these classics online is to plug everything into the AVR, and then get a HDMI Bluetooth transmitter to connect it to the TV.
