How to Connect PC to Monitor AND TV

Hello guys. I have a MSI GTX 970 video card and would like to know how to connect both at the same time so i can use my tv as a second monitor. Currently I'm using My Pc via HDMI to my monitor. I do not have wifi card on my pc, i use ethernet.

You have to use two cables and connect one to each monitor/tv. After you've done that, right click on the desktop and click "screen resolution" and "detect"

I'm not 100% but I think the GTX 970 has a single HDMI port. It also has a single DVI port and a number of display ports. I would suggest getting an DVI-HDMI adapter and connecting your TV to that using a second HDMI cable.

Yeah, it only has one HDMI.
If I use the DVI port and use the adapter to plug it to HDMI, it should work?

Should, yes. Guaranteed, no. Sometimes you get adapters that are incompatible.

I'm actually using a bit of a custom setup on my own rig. I'm using a pair of the DVI-HDMI adapters, one to convert the DVI port on my graphics card to HDMI and another to convert HDMI to DVI on the back of my monitor (it's a multi monitor setup and the two adapters are not on the same cable).

Now im having trouble with the setup of screen. I have the DVI to HDMI adapter to the monitor and the TV with the HDMI cable.
