How to connect to network server through wifi

I run a small business, We have a server that we use for file sharing and every computer plugged into the switch has access to it. We connected a wireless router (Linksys AC1900) in hopes that people using a laptop would be able to access the files also. The people on the laptop don't have access to the files. How can I make this work.

Do you already have a router -- other than the new AC1900 that you added? Or are you solely using a switch and static addresses?

Sounds like you need to set up the wireless router as an access point.
