Question How to connect tv and monitor to one pc

i have my monitor hooted up to vga which is hooked up to graphics card and my tv hooked up to hdmi which is hooked up to motherboard, the monitor works fine but the tv says no signal, how do i fix this

i screwed up obviusly theres a hdmi port, i dont know why i thought the port covers were for aesthetics and not port covers, my problem now is whenever i plug the hdmi in, i lose control of the mouse and the tv still says no imput on all the hdmi options.

ok so i fixed almost every thing, the computer detects the second display and lists it as hdtv, which it is, when i hit extend and move my mouse up, it disappears, presumably onto the tv, hwo ever the tv still says no signal and i dont know why. clearly the computer knows is there?

change the source on the tv? is there more then 1 hdmi port on the tv?
