How to Cool My PC? + Sound Card Question!

I'll soon be adding a Creative Sound Blaster Z, and have questions on that but first I need help with cooling. My room gets pretty hot with my current setup and I was wondering how to cool it.

Sound Card Question: Still new to building my own PC, but on the motherboard I'd plug in the sound card into the black port below the blue one where my video card goes? My video card is very close to this and idk if it will fit or cause even more heating problems being so close.

For headphone surround sound. My on board audio doesn't provide it.

Looks like it will be a tight fit. Now I just gotta figure out how to cool my PC, since it gets my room quite hot.

Cooling the PC even more will make the room hot. It will create the same amount of heat. No matter what cooling the system has, your room will be just as warm.

So adding more fans will just push more heat throughout my room? Nothing reasonable I can do to cool it? Maybe dump water on it? It's so hot in here!

No there isn't really.. More fans just pushes more warm air quicker rather than less hot air. So you can't really avoid it. Does that make sense?

Yeah I understand that, but I was hoping there'd be a way to cool it. Everyone just has hot PCs? This is sad news

You could try to put a radiator on the outside of your house 😀

Haha. Yeah it's just my room, walk outside it and it's like 10 degrees cooler. What about fan speed? Right now I have it set to the highest setting, would lowering it be better? Thanks for the help.
