Gang just wondering if any of you have come up with the magic bullet for notorious Windows 10 creepy-slow boot performance?
there are a million threads on the topic, 90% of which at least are worthless waste of time.

the notebook in question is the surprisingly good acer es1-111m-p2yu, this one upgraded to 4gb ram, conventional drive, was windows 8.1 [performed well], upgraded to W10 [less well]

I have already done much of the standard [usually gamer-inspired] fixes: turned off Sys Protection [i manually make restore points when I like my tweaks], turned off startup items [all], turned of paging and hibernation, set fast start in power profile, all the drivers look [on the surface] to be ok. no system event errors in the main "System" log but the Diagnositcs-Performance log is the usual list of Warning, Errors, Criticals. Shutdown and Boot times unacceptable by MS's own thresholds.

below are the pastes of recent boot performance degradation messages. Believe it or not, the 67 second boot you see here is an improvement... some were running 2 minutes, plus another 2-3 minutes of zombie after the DWM was all "ready" [disk max'd]. these 'move around' from one boot to another so there is no pattern of any one of these being the chronic offender, but take a look pls.

According to your products support page you seem to have drivers available for download that offer Windows 10 support. There is also a BIOS update available showing an August 2015 release date if you haven't update your BIOS then do that first.
