Okay, I'll first list the things I've tried, just so that's clear:

- I've downloaded EasyBCD/checked bcdboot. There's only one entry.
- I've cleared the CMOS.
- I've read this post (the only one I could find that seems to describe the exact problem I'm having), but the solution seems infeasible. I don't have an identical second PC where I could copy a working EFI partition from. Edit: I can't find the link anymore. Was about a guy with a bunch of identical laptops, and only one that was faulty.

Onto what caused my problem. I cloned my Windows 10 disk to an SSD. That went fine, until I cleared the original drive. I got a BSOD on boot. I then followed these great instructions, and got my system to boot again: http://superuser.com/a/504360

BUT, I now have this strange and bothersome problem of having two identical Windows Boot Manager entries in my BIOS. I can boot from the second one, but not the first. If I select the second one to use as default, the system won't boot either.

Bottom line: if I restart my system I have to go and manually select the correct WBM entry every time. If anyone knows a solution to this, it'd be greatly appreciated.

In the Windows 10 "Search the web and Windows" search type in "MSCONFIG" and click on the System Configuration Desktop App. Click on the boot tab and see how many entries are listed there. If you see two there, see if you can determine which of the two you need to delete.

The list in the Boot tab displays the same entries as EasyBCD and bcdboot, as far as I know. So there's only one entry. That's the puzzling part.
