Running Windows 7 64-bit on all computers on the network.

I HAD an external drive on Computer "A". I created a folder, and 'shared' it on the LAN.

I have since removed the EHDD from Computer "A". But the 'shared' folder still shows up on the network. (Computer "B")

Computer A named it "D:\*********** "

When I removed the EHDD from Computer A, it defaulted the name "D:" back to my CD Drive.

When I look at the LAN from Computer "B"..... I still see the shared folder ( D:\********* ) on Computer "A".

How do I delete a 'shared folder' that no longer exists? HELLLP!!

Computer "A" Went to computer>manage>tools>shared folders>shares. I highlighted the folder I want to get rid of. Right click opened a pop up window that says:
Open All Tasks Refresh Help.

I click on 'all tasks' and it opens a window that says 'open'. I clicked on each one, and when I click "OPEN" a popup windows says:

"Failed to launch explorer homed at D:\******** "

As I said, when I removed the External HDD, the computer reassigned the name "D:" to my CD drive.

I also tried using the Delete Key. Nothing happened.

Computer "B" still thinks the shared folders still exist. SO....... NOTHING SO FAR.
