Hi, my mobo- gigabyte z87x-ud3h, bios version F10b. cpu- i5 4670k
How to determine that if my bios is corrupted and i need to flash it with same bios? i'm currently trying overclocking my cpu. after having few BSOD my pc wont start and i had to clear cmos and then i got the option during starting pc again to "restore bios to defaults and reboot" and i clicked it, after that my pc started normaly though my bios version did not change. but then even if i did not overclock, my pc wont start normally sometimes and getting that choice "restore bios to defaults and reboot" , clicking that option usually starts my pc normally. But only thing that i'm changing from default is choosing XMP 1 for my memory. is my bios corrupted?
without doing any overclocking my cpu vcore voltage currently on auto and its reaching as high as 1.29v on full load though previously on full load my vcore would only reach 1.224v highest. is this concerning and is this happening cause of bios corruption?
what is the symptom of bios being corrupted and if it's get corrupted is flashing with same bios version the fix for that?
