i have a asrock z77 motherboard and intel 3570k cpu... i want to disable my intel hd graphics 4000. as in device manager both my intel hd and my graphic cards are ennable... as far as i know in intel motherboard the onboard graphics get automatically disable when we install a external graphic card but in asrock both are enable...
how do i disable the onboard graphic??

If you look in the BIOS, there's an option called something like "iGPU Multi-Monitor Support : Enable/Disable". Make sure it's disabled, and it should switch off the iGPU with a discrete card installed. Also disable anything that says "Virtu-MVP support" (if your board supports that). And set any option that says "Primary Graphics Adaptor" to PCI-E not iGPU.

k thanks...but now i couldnt install the drivers for my graphic card. my graphic card is nvidia gtx 650 ti boost , when i click on the drivers installation nothing seems to happen...

That's odd. Disabling the iGPU would mean you can't install the Intel HD GFX drivers, but it shouldn't make any difference at all to nvidia ones. All I can suggest is:-

1. Does nvidia GFX drivers need something like .NET 4.0 Framework installed first? I have an AMD card and the Catalyst drivers won't install without .NET 2.0 Framework first.

2. Download the latest driver direct from nvidia rather than use the ones on the CD that came with the card.

3. Temporarily reenable the iGPU and see if it works. If so install them, then disable the iGPU afterwards.

4. If you've installed Intel HD GFX drivers, then remove them and see if that makes a difference?

i have the drivers of my nvidia installed already , but i changed my motherboard today so im getting some graphic problem like green line on firefox window, and now when im installing the drivers again i couldnt do that, and theres no nvidia display driver in the control panel which i can remove and install again.

Have you removed all your old motherboard chipset, LAN, audio, etc, drivers and installed the new ones? Did you removed the nVidia drivers from Settings->Control Panel-> Programs & Features, then reboot, then tried installing them again? If you've done all that, then a lot of people with such issues usually end up reinstalling Windows after swapping motherboards to completely clear Windows of all old drivers & registry settings. I honestly can't think of anything else. So many glitches can occur if you swap motherboards over without removing all the old drivers first, especially boards of a different chipset / generation / brand.

i reinstalled windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, i installed all the asrock drivers,, but when i try to update my windows i get an error windows update cannot update currently check for updates, because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer.
