How to disable system LEDs after shutdown?

My Kraken's LEDs have always stayed on after shutdown, but with the addition of the Asus X99 Strix motherboard enough is enough! How do I get these dang lights to shut off with the computer?!

Lol, never thought I'd see the day when people started to complain about RGBs.
It can be done through the NZXT CAM software, and the motherboard through ASUS Aura Sync.

the asus LED's can be disabled in the BIOS. with razers kraken you can set an option in the synapse software to turn the lighting off.

I don't see any options for what to do during shutdown, but I'm honestly tired of all this LED nonsense. I'm just going to disable all of it.
