Hi. I'm having some troubles with my Saitek PRO Switch Panel, and searching the internet, a few forums are saying to try to disable USB 3.0.

My motherboard is an Asus F1A75 M LE and searching on BIOS i cant find xHCI, only eHCI.

Please, help me to disable USB 3.0.

Solution
in most amd bios's there should usb 3.0 settings to treat it as 3.0 with backwards compatibility to 2.0 as well as disable them, im not sure if you can set them to strictly 2.0 but it seems possible
Well, do you need to disable it in bios? Or can you do it through Windows and still have the same result?

You -could- just open up the control panel, go to your device manager, scroll down through to the 'usb controllers' expand that, find the USB 3.0 devices, right click then 'disable', and reboot.

That should prevent the USB 3.0 drivers from loading -in Windows-. As for bios level support for USB 3.0, I couldn't tell you. Most older motherboards have controls for disabling just about everything, newer ones should have them as well.

All i want is to disable USB 3.0 and all my 3.0 ports works like 2.0.

The controllers that i need to disable are "AMD USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller" right?
