How to do SLI?

Well, I have one Geforce GTX 690 and I would like to know the following:

I want to buy a second Geforce GTX 690 to do SLI or whataver you call the combination of both GPUs. Now, Geforce has at least 2 models of the GTX 690. Do I need an Identical model? And how do I find the exact model of my GPU?

Yes it is always recommended to get an identical model you should just be able to buy one more of the same thing. Also what are the rest of the specs of your computer?

whats ur full specs. u need a powerful ps of 1k watts atleast. and a sli capable motherboard whats ur specs?
