Question How to enable IPv4 over LAN

We are running an RT-AX88U Pro behind a Starlink (business) modem in bypass mode with a public IP.
Computers that are connected via LAN - hardwired to the router or the switch - do not receive an IPv4 address - but do receive an IPv6 address.
All devices on the network (wireless, wired, etc.) can access the hardwired devices, but the ASUS router does not show any wired connections.

How would we enable IPv4 access on hardwired LAN devices? (snips below for context)

According to Starlink, it operates in ipv6 mode by default (at least for business, like you). Bypass mode or not, you probably have to configure the modem for Starlink (or have them do it, not sure how they operate) to use IPv4 by default. Have you gone through everything on the Starlink device?

The Asus should have an IPv6 option on the main page. You can then disable IPv6 completely.
You can disable IPv6 on individual devices, which will cause them to get an IPv4 IP from the Asus.

All of his wifi devices get IPv4 addresses except wired device, however. That's weird.

That would be device specific.
I would just disable IPv6 at the router and in every device. But that is just me....

Unfortunately, Starlink does not offer much in the way of modifying their modems. With it in bypass mode, we can only see the stats and status, with options to expand the payment plan. :/

Not sure if it matters, but our WIFI devices have IPv4 and no IPv6, and its the exact opposite for devices on the LAN.

All cables are plugged in and working! Tested with different cables to be sure, but the problem persists.

Regarding Starlink App
4. Starlink app

a. Open Starlink app, follow the App instructions to finish the setup.

b. Open Starlink app, go to setting, enable “Bypass mode”. Under bypass mode, Starlink router will disable wireless functionality, if you want to switch back to normal state, a factory reset is required.

b-1. Under bypass mode, you will need to setup static route on ASUS router in order to use Starlink app.

b-2. Go to [LAN] > [Route] tab. Click [Yes] on Enable static routes.

b-3. For example, add two static route rules and click [Apply] to save the setting.

Host IP: 192.168.100.1 => asus router LAN IP 192.168.50.1
192.168.100.24 => Assign an IP to your phone 192.168.50.24
Netmask: 255.255.255.255
Gateway: 0.0.0.0
Metric: 1
Interface : WAN

Did you reboot the device to ensure it requested an IPv4 IP address after you disabled IPv6?
