Hi so i have a vga monitor which i would like to use but i doesnt seem to be able to connect to the motherboards VGA and only the HDMI graphics card port is working.Just wana know how i am able to enable the motherboards VGA port. Thanks

Because you did not post what GPU you had, if the GPU does not have the VGA port, you have to buy the HDMI to VGA adapter, keep in mind the MB does not have the VGA too. Also read the product description very carefully, when you shop the adapter, because most of the adapters are not the bi-directional adapter, and not the active adapter.

And the HDMI cable can transmit the digital audio/video signals, and the VGA can use for analog signals, so you need to buy the active adapter, but you will still have not the analog audio signal.

More info for HDMI, you can find from wikipedia.

The adapter is look like: ( you may find other one) https://www.amazon.com/Female-Converter-Adapter-Projectors-devices/dp/B072SNVKDF/ref=asc_df_B072SNVKDF/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241890262974&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13245523774280454393&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007284&hvtargid=pla-445334471462&psc=1#customerReviews

If you still have problem, may just forget about the old monitor, sorry.
