How to enable sound through an HDMI jack and headphones

P.S. no sound card on the mobo.

Must be old if theres no sound card on it. So what appears under sound in control panel?

If you monitor has a headphone jack - that would be the easiest way.....

No I built it myself. The headphones and the hdmi output are there. I've looked for a Mono or Stereo mix, but I cannot find it.

And you installed the drivers? So what is HDMI connected to?? Is it a HDMI cable or HDMI/DVI adapter or something?
