How to factory resed SSD while Windows 10 is on it ?

Hey guys so i am preping my PC components for sale, and i have one guy that is interested in obtaining the SSD which currently holds my OS, so my question is how do i factory reset the ssd safely while my OS is still on it ?

Just to add my ssd is 480GB Kingston 400UV.

The best way would be to get a SATA to USB cable, connect the SSD to a different PC and use Windows' in-built disk management tool to format it.

Or if you're giving him the windows install on the drive also, you can give use the Windows Reset utility. In the search box type Reset. Choose delete all my files. It should delete everything except the Windows OS.

This is only in Windows 10.

Wouldn't it be easiest to just do a clean install of Windows 10 on it?

Under Control panel, System maintenance there is a way to wipe everything and do a fresh install.
