I just made this account to post an answer to a question, but now I can't find that thread. I tried searching my username in google and in the Tom's hardware search, and it doesn't come up. I also saw something about unchecking 'unread answers only' in my tracked threads and it still says there is nothing there.

Sorry, i'm new and a bit frustrated that there's not a simple list of last 5 or so answers I've posted and links to them from my profile (it even shows i have 1 post, just no link to that post..)

Solution
Upper right corner (just to the left of the notifications)

Click the triangle next to your name, then click "Tracked Threads"

You'll get a list of all the threads you have either posted answers in or specifically marked to follow. The list can take some time to update after you post.

Thank you so much ex_bubblehead ! Is there a way that I could have found that myself through my profile or something (assuming you didn't use some sort of moderator magic to find it) ?

UPDATE: odd, that answer now shows up in my tracked threads list. Maybe my new account wasn't allowed full privileges or something before now ?

You need to click on your user name on the top right(to the left of the 0 Notifications thing), then click on Tracked threads, and you should most likely find the thread there. If not, go back to the thread where you posted, and on the very first post on that thread, there should be a Track this thread option on the bottom right. Click that, and the thread should appear in the list of Tracked threads on your profile.
