[SOLVED] How to find out GPU series/model

Hi, long story short, motherboard on my friends older PC (build probably between 2012-2015) broke, I got new one H410m, so we had to replace CPU from i5 2500k to 10th generation i3 because of newer socket. Got DDR4 ram too.

Now the issue is GPU, I'd like to check for compatibility with MoBo/CPU but have no way of finding out what series/model is it as the pc is broken. Is there any way to find out exact model details, for example via serial number on the card? https://ibb.co/9q1hwkD

Check if there is some label on back of the card.
It's regular PCIE graphics card. Should work just fine (if not broken).

If the GPU was installed with the i5-2500K system, it's compatible with the newer i3-10100. PCIe is backward compatible.

There should be a sticker/label on the back of the card, with he model. Its probably a Radeon GPU, perhaps HD 6xxx or 7xxx model. But that as far as I can guess with the picture you shared.

And if I was in your place I would try my best to clean it before installing it, that heatsink is really dusty.

I know GPU prices are awful, but you're probably better just using the IGP for now.....

Crap, I was under the impression that the black/red cooler design was because of a Radeon GPU inside, I guess I was 10000000% wrong.
