Question How to find out what graphics card is compatible with my system?

The computer I have is an HP Victus 15L Gaming Desktop

Product Number: 575N4AA#ABA

Right now I am currently using the onboard graphics card of the motherboard. However I was planning on upgrading to a dedicated graphics card, just don't know which brand Nvidia or AMD as well as what will actually fit in my case or if I would need to upgrade my case as well. I am also on a fixed income so I don't want to get something that will break the bank or i will just have to save up for it. I would also like a card that will primarily last a few years.

I do play games, however not a heavy gamer, I play Scum, Cyberpunk2077 and a few others.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Please describe the specification of your current in details. Also if you have the photo of the pc with the side panel removed you may aswell put it here for us to take a look.

If I got the right PC linked boy that's tight in there.

The main roadblock is going to be the OEM power supply. Can you list it or better post a picture of the side of it with it's power specifications clear in a pictures.

Thank you for the information, I will see what I can do with the pictures and better part numbers tomorrow, As mentioned I don't mind replacing the case to something bigger if it will provide more space to put a card. so just as a back up.

Looks like it only has a 350w PSU. That will limit options significantly.

It wont be a "gaming" desktop if it doesn't have dedicated graphics of any sort right?

I checked, and your PSU options be limited as well, cause any PSU you may need to upgrade to in order to get a decent GPU upgrade, should all be proprietary HP ones. (cause of HPs mobo connector).

So basically you'll probably need a new PSU & Case as well. Once cash is put aside for those, you'll have little for the GPU 🙁
