Hi everyone! I just finished my first pc build and I can definitely say I have a lot to learn. Because of that, I figured this would be the best place to ask my questions!
My build consists of an NZXT s340 Elite, an Asus Strix ROG z270e motherboard, an i7 7700k, 16 Gbs of ram (G.Skillz Trident z rgb 8x2 sticks), an Asus 1050ti OC Edition graphics card, and an NZXT Kraken x62 AIO liquid cooler.
Here’s where I need help: I have a stock NZXT fan connected to the CHA_FAN1 header and an NZXT aer fan connected to CHA_FAN2 header. I then have the 2 fans on the Kraken x62 connected to the AIO_PUMP header, so I have nothing connected to the CPU_FAN or CPU_OPT headers. Upon start-up I’m receiving a message in the BIOS menu that reads as follows: “CPU Fan speed error detected. Ensure that the CPU fan is properly installed on the CPU_FAN header or adjust/disable the Fan Speed Low Limit option in the UEFI BIOS.” My question is, is the way I have my fans configured alright or should I move them around? Thanks!
