Question How to fix lag issues with Assassin's creed Mirage and other games?

I recently bought MSI GF65 thin which has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 ti 8GB graphics card, i7-10750H, 16 gb ram and 512gb ssd. I don't know why but the fps is very bad. My fps at ac mirage is coming of 11 and the lag is annoying. My frames score is coming at 3985 while playing AC mirage. I also tried valorant and ghost of tsushima and the fps is bad there too. how can i fix it?

bro my friend has same laptop, he can easily play ac mirage with55-60 fps on ultra high settings, i am on high and the fps is still low

set everything system-wide to exactly the same settings your "friend" has and you should have no problem then, right?

but this was lower budget GPU series 5 years ago
and a mid-level mobile processor 4 years ago
running a much newer game.

hopefully you didn't pay much for this thing.
