hello. i have a low end pc i have a problem which i didn't had before. the problem is of stuttering in all games.i tried re-instatling the windows and updating drivers.but i dont want to upgrade so plz only fixes.!!!

If you mounted the heatsink correctly, you will not get 55'C on idle.

i dont know what the problem is called but its like some micro freezes which are less than a second which occurs every 5-7 second.

OK try this do a system restore to the date before you had all these issues if you started to have then 2 weeks ago do a system restore to a early date then that and don't update anything and try your games then this will take your system back to when things wasn't stuttering.

Doing a system restore before the date before all this started to happen is probably going to be your best bet in finding out the issue.

It's not a driver issue. CPU is much to hot and is throttling itself. It shouldn't idle at 55C, and once you hit 70C the thermal protection kicks in. You need to figure out why the other cooler didn't work. You also need to apply NEW thermal paste every time you put a cooler on. Make sure the sink and CPU are clean.

i think its not overheating issue.i checked my temps again and my cpu when idle is at 30c and cores when idle are at 40c.

That doesn't look like any great cooler. Probably no better than stock. And it looks like it uses push pins so there's a good chance it's not attached correctly. If load temps are 65+, you need to get it cooler.

yeah but i checked it again the temps were cpu when idle 30c and cores when idle 40c

i tried changing my cooler. but when i went to shop for replacing it with original intel cooler they did as i said but my motherboard could not bear it and gave no display and when we switched to a lighter and a cheap one it gave display.so any tips for cooling.

A heavy unit shouldn't matter. The shop might have missed something when they put that cooler on? I would say try a liquid AIO cooler, but I get the feeling you don't have the funds for that. Are there any mid range coolers you can try? Something larger/better then the stock one, but not a huge as whatever mystery one you tried?

Could go old school and point a house fan at your CPU. That usually helps. I'd also double check the cooler still. If a single push pin isn't fully in it won't work right.

no i didn't lied and my mobo has suffered many display problems and it still occurs till now.the shop which i went took 4 hours to check whats the problem and they told that the mobo became weak and cant resist heavy coolers.

it does not helps and i cant buy that liquid aio cooler because its cost i high but can we try some nvidia fixes like settings the settings in nvidia control panel

but will replacing it remove the stuttering and can u suggest me a very cheap mobo which supports ddr2 or ddr3 rams.

Hunt in eBay, perhaps you are lucky.
I do not know anymore what kind of LGA775 mobo with DDR2 supports is still available to buy as new and how much does it cost.
LGA775 with DDR2 platform is already really old.
Replacing with a DDR3 mobo means you must buy DDR3 RAM too.

Actually, every single cent you spend getting such PC back on it's feet is a waste of money. That PC of yours is worth already less than USD120, if you try to sell it on eBay here, where I live.
You must learn from Frozen..let it go..let it go...
