How to fix tvpanel exe stopped working

Hi guys
I have a usb tv stick [TiVme] and when I try to start it I now get a message TVpanel.exe has stopped working.
I have tried uninstalling, then reinstalling to no avail can anyone assist

in answer to nikorr, yes i tried that,thanks. I've had computers fur many years ,but has got me fooled.
have checked elsewhere and though many are getting this error,nobody has the answer thanks anyway

I had a similar problem with the GIGABYTE U8300 usb TV stick.
I was also getitng a warning from my resident antivirus software (AVG free edition)
Even deleting the offending file / reinstalling the program did not work.
Eventually I changed the settings on my antivirus program by excluding the folder that my TV player was located in from being scanned.
It fixed the problem immediately.
