Hi, i just bought an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 4600G.
I updated the BIOS to the laest none-beta version and the white debug LED (wich means CPU error) lit up.
I already tried these troubleshooting steps:

  • removing and reinserting the CPU
  • removing a stick of ram (i have two) and then try to move the other one in all 4 slots
  • removing the SSD
  • removing the graphics card
  • removing MOBO cables and then reinserting them
  • removing the CMOS battery and reinserting it
  • updating the bios to an older version
  • using multiple USB sticks to update the BIOS

PC SPECS:
MOBO: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 4600G
RAM: Corsair vengeance 8GB (x2)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 ti
SSD: Kingston SATA SSD A400 960GB
PSU: Cooler Master MWE 550
CASE: Thermaltake level 20MT argb

Thank you for the help!

Did you connect all power cables to the PSU? 10pin+18pin for atx24pin motherboard connector plus 8pin eps?

reset the BIOS by using the jumper pins
JBAT1: Clear CMOS

which exact bios version did you try to install?
how did you proceed? use a fat32 formatted usb flash drive with the unzipped bios file renamed to MSI.ROM

Updating BIOS with Flash BIOS Button
1. Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model from
the MSI® website.
2. Rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of the USB storage device.
3. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No need to install CPU
and memory.)
4. Plug the USB storage device that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOS
Port on the rear I/O panel.
5. Press the Flash BIOS Button to flash BIOS, and the LED starts flashing.
6. The LED will be turned off when the process is completed

I updated the BIOS exactly how you said with the last version available (not beta), buy It didn't work. For the cables i only connected the MOBO cables (24 PIN) and the CPU cable. Can you tell me where that "10 PIN" belongs?
