It's giving me errors and I can't remove it.

It prompts for a drive to find a .msi file and when I browse to it it gives a installation failed error (uninstallation).

I can't play APEX because I can't remove the bloody redistributable.

Thanks.

First question would be.. 32 or 64 bit version of it?
second is, have you tried reinstalling it? it usually fixes uninstallation issues like you have?
for 64 bit:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
for 32 bit:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

Edit: according to google, some have had some luck with this too:

Hey. I'm trying to delete both versions so Apex Legends can do a clean install and continue with the download. It's stuck at 40%.

I tried reinstall first, nothing works. Always same prompt for location and then error.

Tried windows add/remove program fix. It also gives a troubleshoot error.

Tried downloading all versions and nothing works.

I need some hardcore method as in using CMD + Regedit or some software to force delete it.

Well, when the internet dissapoints you have to fend for yourself.

How I solved the problem is:

Once the missing network resource error is prompt I clicked browse and it led me to the vc_red.msi file that is missing. Usually I would click it and then proceed and it would fail.

This time I copied the vc_red,msi file to another folder on the pc and then restarted the installer and browsed to it and it worked.

I cannot test it myself since for me both program add/remove and reinstalling myself works fine.
I also don't have Apex legends so I don't know if it's EA fault or not.

just to clarify, since also reddit seems to say that the microsoft troubleshooter should be able to uninstall VC packages that cause trouble in this case.
View: https://www.reddit.com/r/apexgame/comments/an6qok/error_installing_setup_cant_continue_help/

so you were not able to uninstall said things with the microsofts troubleshooting thing?

And It seems you managed to fix things yourself while I was typing this, which is good, at least it's one more way to fix it.
