Question How to free space on my SSD?

Hello everyone. I hope this is okay to ask here because it is more of a software thing. But my SSD is over 70% full even when I uninstall everything from it that is not my drivers and the like. I have ran a disc clean up on it. But I only got a few gigs out of it. I am annoyed because I can only have one game installed at a time if it is a large game. I would do a factory restore but I lost my OS in my last move. I went to do a system restore and my restore points where turned off for some reason. I have been struggling with this for a long time now and I am wanting to know what I can do to get my space back? Thank you for your time.

Install either WinDirStat or WizTree
Run as Administrator, selecting only the drive in question.

I built this computer around 5 years ago and do not remember fully what SSD I have. But it is a 250gig Samsung.

And Overwatch is on it right now too. It keeps saying uninstall failed. So I am stuck with it it seems.

Only 167GB consumed, on a 250GB SSD.

Have you considered a full wipe and reinstall? 5 years on the same install is pretty long, if you're doing a lot of install/uninstall.

What other drives are in this system?

You don't.
That 'full wipe' includes the OS....starting from a fully bare drive.

Where did this Win 8.1 come from? Do you have the license key?

I had the disk. But it was lost in my last move. I no longer have the product key. Or can I pull that from my PC?

Belarc Advisor can probably discover that license key.

Then, you can go to Microsoft and download the actual ISO for that.

With that ISO file, you can use Rufus to create a bootable USB flash drive.
