In my Dell 5490 laptop which I just got recently with Win 11. I am trying to aquaint myself with this win 11 system. When I boot up, I am constantly faced with Firefox browser, mcFee and Microsoft asking to get some program, I think it was 365 office. I went to MSconfig like i use to do with win 7 and be able to change startup apps, but in Win 11 its not as simple. It even recommends to go to Task Manager, and even that is not a simple as in win 7/ All i am wanting is when I boot up is to get almost a blank screen and then make my choices to open.

Do you have any long-term interest in McAfee? Not sure about current situation, but it used to be difficult to get rid of.

Kinda surprised if Firefox is the default browser in a new Dell. Is that what you mean?

Have you examined settings/apps to see what is installed and uninstallable?

Startup apps can be enabled/disabled in Task Manager - startup apps section.
Right-Click on app and choose disable.
