Question How to get crysis 1 editor to work on windows 11?

I managed to get the game running on windows 11 by switching the 64bit folders but the editor shows the splash screen and then quits and disappears. How do I get the editor to work?

It is the original 2007 version but in windows 11 and yes I meant the sandbox editor.

Apparently the remaster does not have the sandbox. Neither does the maximum edition.
