[SOLVED] How to get faster internet with monopolized ISP?

Hi, I live in an area where we can only use spectrum. I've tried using Frontier for better plans but the price was defentily not worth the 25MBS down and 5 up. Currently our spectrum plan is 50down 50 up and I pay $100 for that. In another home I paid $25 a month for 200 up and down. Granted I had and still have my computer connected vie ethernet cable to a wifi extender. In the old home, I got 150 down and 25 up. With spectrum, connected to my extender, i barley get 25 down and 5 up. Now I would bring the router to the computer room but this house is old and has no ethernet ports anywhere and the only place to connect the router is in the living room and is connected via coax. So I was wondering, what are some ways to speed up my internet, I was thinking a mesh system.

You need a wired solution.
Ethernet, MOCA, powerline.
