Question How to get images from the desktop?

Hey guys, Each morning after turning on my desktop pc, I see a different desktop background image. I have no idea how or why this is happening. Looking in the Personalize settings, under Background and Lock Screen, I am not seeing those images. Any idea how I can find those images or where they are coming from please as I would like to get some of those images?

It is likely from the Theme you chose. Adjust accordingly.

Its probably because your current theme might be dynamic images. Pretty sure you can find those images on bing wallpaper, or you can just search for themes in microsoft store

If you have not activated windows, you can't personalize.
If you are activated set the image or color you want.

Thanks guys, I would like to get the one image I saw this morning of a mountain side or cliff which seems be like in Ireland , which is why I am looking into this.

You can find background images (at least current one) in
C:\Users\<User_Name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

Copy those files somewhere else and change file extension to jpg.

Look in CachedFiles folder.
There will be your current wallpaper.

You can also use TranscodedWallpaper file.
You just have to copy it somewhere else and add .JPG extension to it.

Sorry for the late response. I found the Temp folder for the cached files but have no idea in which folder and which file type I should be copying and adding the .jpg extension to, any idea please?

That is user temp folder.
Has nothing to do with wallpapers.

Screenshot in Post #7 - you were in correct location.
CachedFiles folder is in there. Did you not notice it?

Oh sorry, got confused thanks. Only the regular windows blue image is in there now. So if I am understanding correctly, next time I should see a different desktop image, this is where I will find it, at that time?

Strange, not every time I will see a different image, only sometimes.

Right-click on desktop and choose "Next Desktop Background".
Files in folder should change

C:\Users\Ina\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes​

Make a copy of TranscodedWallpaper file and rename it to
TranscodedWallpaper.jpg

When I right click on any empty spot on the desktop this is what I am seeing?
