How to get more Vram

hi guys from tomshardware!
so i am going to "upgrade" my monitor to a LG 34UM95-P but i have a problem i already have a shit load of vram in r9 290 (4GB) but if you want to play shadow of mordor with the sliders on max
your going to need some vram because with my r9 290 i am almost bottlenecking the thing so i was thinking upgrade but a r9 290x sucks from price to performance and isnt any better than the r9 290 on vram and going balls to the walls on a r9 295x2 isnt my plan that thing costs more that the monitor so what are my options will crossfire help?
or isnt there a option?

how do you know you're 'almost bottlenecking the thing'?
Crossfire won't help.
