How to get Pre-Built Ethernet ports to work?

Pre-Built Ethernet Ports everywhere.
In my home there are Ethernet ports in about every room. How would I be able to make those ports become internet ready? My ISP is Comcast.
I am also not sure if I m able to.

well all those ports have to come to some sort of "hub" "router" or "switch" somewhere. you'd simply connect that "hub" point to your net connected modem/router with an ethernet cable. should be good to go.

Completely depends on the actual wiring. If the previous owner/installer was even a little bit competent, they would have left a wiring diagram of where everything goes.

It appears that all of the rooms connect to that patch panel on the right of your pic (for ethernet), and the black wires would be coax for TV . Appears.

But someone will have to test all the lines and see exactly what is going on.

Sure. Your cable modem would go in there, connected to say a 16 port switch. Get something like this
